Gamer Romance Fiction Anyone?

This might be a thing…

So, here’s the thing…

There are a lot of women out there gaming these days. Cozy gamers, Fornite gamers, variety gamers – women are playing all kinds of games these day.

And you know, something else a lot of women do is read. In particular, they read a lot of romance.

But are there romance books/stories that are written for and about gamer girls falling in love (and lust)? If you do a quick search on Amazon you will find a few books but not a massive amount. I’ve found a handful of books that features gamers but if you search for “romance books about gamers” you most find titles that simply have “game” in the title or description. And usually that game isn’t related to video games.

Is that because there’s simply not an interest in books about and for gamer girls? Or is it because no one is writing the kind of books about and for gamer girls that gamers want?

I can’t help but think that if some of my gamer girl friends and followers could find a good book – or better yet, series of books – that are fun, interesting, and sexy, they would read them. If they found books where the gamer girl meets the gamer guy and they bond over their love of gaming, they would read them.

Why? Because in some of the social media groups I’m in I see girls talk about meeting a guy through a game and falling in love and living happily ever after. Or happy for now anyway. So, obviously, this is a thing. It happens. And it wouldn’t happen if they didn’t want it to happen, right?

So, I’m going to give it a shot.

I’m going to start working on a series of short, instalove (things are gonna happen quickly!) stories where the game plays a pivotal role in the relationship. And they are gonna be hot hot hot! So, not for kids.

I have ideas! But I don’t want to spoil it. I’m going to make you wait.
